Yes. Rainbow Dental Health Care is a family practice and Dr. Raftacco treats children, teens and adults. The American Academy of Pediatrics and the ADA recommend a first dental visit by a child's first birthday or within six months of the first tooth. Do I need a pediatric specialist for my child's checkup?
For most children, routine checkups, cleanings, fluoride, sealants and fillings can be provided by a general or family dentist. If your child needs specialist care, Dr. Raftacco will tell you and help you find the right provider.
What happens at a kid's first dental visit?
